Job Description

To'ak Chocolate has a small remote team based in Ecuador, the US and Europe. We would like to increase the volume of quality blogs that we are able to publish on our website. To do this we are seeking support with the administrative task of publishing our blogs (drafted in Google Docs) on our Shopify website. The main tasks required are to review whether the blog complies with a set of SEO requirements, identify suitable images for the blog and format the blog in an aesthetically pleasing way in the Shopify content editor.

This job could be perfect to compliment your other work/studies, as a side hustle.

The topics we typically write about include: cacao farming and genetics, chocolate tasting and pairing, chocolate and cacao recipes, health and functional benefits of cacao, environmental conservation, Ecuador, luxury experiences and company news.

Tasks

• Review compliance of draft blogs against a set of Search Engine Optimization requirements
• Provide feedback to blog author with respect to how the blog quality could be improved
• Research and select suitable photography/video content for the blog (both from To'ak's content library and other external media libraries)
• Format the blog in Shopify to be aesthetically pleasing and compliant with style guide

Note: should you have an interest in authoring blog (and other) content and demonstrate a talent in this area we are open to you also writing blogs for To'ak.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for a team member who can demonstrate prior experience or qualities in the following areas:

1. Digital publishing tools (e.g. website content management)
2. A keen attention to detail
3. Fluency in written English language

It is considered a bonus if you have experience with:

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Writing original content
• Design or photo editing
• Social media
